Last night’s ZINO Roundtable meeting featured four very interesting companies:
Mobba – a very timely play in the many-to-many shopping space. Link with other buyers who want the same item and sellers will bid to offer the lowest price. Excellent presentation — simple and to the point — led by Ed Herinckx (VP Sales & Marketing), especially the animated graphics (using PowerPoint!).
NetMore America — a mortgage brokerage located in Walla Walla now serving 26 states. CEO Mark Freedle is raising funds to leverage the company’s lending capacity.
Exponential Entertainment –makers of HolloywoodPlayer. This new offering from Dave Long, co-founder of Screenlife, LLC (”Scene It?” DVD game) which was acquired by Paramount in 2008, targets the overlap of casual gaming and movie mania among friends.
Kapitall – a spinout presented by former ShareBuilder exec Stephan Roche that promises to combine a game-like UI with stock investing — all targeted at the younger “digital natives” cohort.
The most interesting comment of the evening came from Dave Long, who described how their software directs trivia questions to free users to test the recall power of 15-second ads. Very powerful feedback mechanism for advertisers.

Seattle startup ecoFAB made its public debut at the Seattle Green Festival March 28-29, offering home energy audits and weatherization services — and in the process coined the term “refit” as a more forward-looking replacement for the term “retrofit.”
Founder Callie Ridolfi, a business veteran and registered civil engineer, had managed environmental cleanup and restorative development services for Native American tribes in the Northwest since 1990. After receiving her MBA degree in Sustainable Business from Bainbridge Graduate Institute, she founded ecoFAB as a social venture to create jobs and save energy. Here’s what Callie had to say about my services:
“Bryan of Business Plans NW has the gift of sorting through all of the many complexities and elements of your business proposal to determine the factors critical to success. For an aspiring entrepreneur, he helps you to identify the most important next steps so that you may spend your precious time on what matters most. Although I have run a company for the past two decades, his expertise in getting new companies off the ground was instrumental to the start-up of my new venture. I recommend contacting Bryan now if you want to save time and create more value for your enterprise.” paris texas download

Get Your Business Plan Done …and Get It Done Right!
Over the last ten years of writing business plans and coaching entrepreneurs, the one statement that I have most often heard goes something like this: “I have been working on my business plan for a while and I hope to get it done soon.”
Perhaps you are familiar with this scenario. You know that having a business plan is important – for presenting to investors, applying for a loan, recruiting your management team, building your board of advisors, establishing relationships with partners, and running your operations. But you don’t have the money to hire a professional to write it for you, and you just can’t seem to finish it on your own.
To solve this problem, I am offering the Six-Week Business Plan Intensive, a highly interactive, results-oriented program for up to twelve business owners and entrepreneurs who are committed to getting their business plan done … and getting it done right.
