About Bryan Brewer

Bryan Brewer has worked as a business plan consultant since the year 2000. Prior to that, he has held a number of positions and performed consulting engagements in management, sales, marketing, and technical arenas for organizations large and small. In addition, he has been intimately involved in three startup businesses in the software and Web content areas.

One colleague recently described Bryan Brewer as a “deep generalist,” a characterization that reflects his broad business background and his ability to readily and intelligently grasp new concepts and information. He has worked and consulted in a wide variety of industry sectors, including software, hardware, electronics, publishing (print and online), consumer products, professional services, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, financial services, engineering, healthcare, natural resources, education & training, aerospace, and others.

Bryan Brewer also served as Chief Operating Officer of BigGarden Ventures, a startup venture capital firm sponsored by The Petkevich Group, San Francisco, CA, where he reviewed numerous business plans and managed a portfolio of investments. In addition, he has worked as a professional non-fiction writer, with two books, several contributions to books, and numerous magazine articles to his credit.

Mr. Brewer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, and has completed graduate studies in law and psychology. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Officer Candidate School and served as a Lieutenant JG in the United States Navy. He is married and has two adult sons.
