Northwest
Entrepreneur Network (NWEN)
NWEN is perhaps the most robust and active entrepreneur organization in the Pacific
Northwest. The group offers numerous education, networking, and assistance programs to its
more than 700 members drawn from the entrepreneur, investor, service provider, government,
and education communities. The monthly breakfast meeting routinely attracts several
hundred participants, where several entrepreneurs make 5-minute presentations to the
audience.
MIT Enterprise
Forum (MITEF) of the Northwest
MITEF is one of 24 local chapters of this international organization that supports high
tech entrepreneurial growth. Popular events include the venture lab, dinner meetings, and
satellite broadcasts.
Alliance
of Angels (AofA)
This regionally focused group of approximately 150 individual and corporate investors
reviews investments in early stage technology companies. Entrepreneurs vie to be selected
to make a 10-minute presentation to the invitation-only luncheons of investors.
Seraph
Capital Forum
Members of this foremost women's organization of active angels in the Puget Sound region
individually provide capital and board-level expertise to early stage companies.
Angels With
Attitude I, LLC
The Northwest's only seed and early-stage private equity investment fund committed to
sustainability. (As of December 2003, Angels with Attitude is fully invested and not
accepting business plans.)

This is the major entrepreneur organization serving Oregon and Southwest Washington,
offering numerous programs for education, networking, and entrepreneur assistance.
